He hails from the city of Nawabs, Lucknow and is known to have pursued his B.Com from the University of Lucknow. Besides having tremendous years of experience as a casting director in several web series and daily soaps, he is also known to have worked in the direction department for several magnificent Bollywood movies

Mr. Vivek is known for nurturing the art of drama and acting from all over India by identifying talent that clashes with potential. He moulds others talent into quality-class performance apt for his movies and then brings them to the silver screen. He was fortunate and deserving enough to contribute to the making of remarkable pieces such as Madam Chief Minister, Beehad Ka Baghi, Thappad, Article 15, Mulk and Bareilly ki Barfi. He added a feather to his crown when he played a very important character in the much acclaimed ‘Article 15’.
His relationship with this field dates back to 2006 with Theatre plays, Street shows and Cultural activities revolving around social awareness, workshops for the underprivileged orphans and as an organiser backstage. He left for Mumbai in 2013 to begin his career as a casting intern. He, then, successfully was a part of popular TV shows across Sony, Star Plus and Channel V, and casting director before he knuckled down in movies and series.
In this very short time, he has worked with stalwarts like Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon, Manoj Pahwa and Akshay Kumar and also under great contemporary directors of today, Anubhav Sinha, Ratna Sinha and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Subhash Kapoor
With Rayvik Pictures Pvt. limited, he wishes to document his work and organise efforts across several other fields as a Casting Director and as an actor into one brand for all upcoming projects that he undertakes
